Hi, I’m Yashwanthi.

Ph.D. candidate in Computer Science · Oregon State University

I study how autonomous agents learn and make decisions, and why they sometimes fail to complete tasks. My research combines reinforcement learning and Bayesian methods to help agents make more reliable decisions by learning from human feedback and, when human supervisors are unavailable, from automated evaluators.

I'm part of the Intelligent and Reliable Autonomous Systems (IRAS) group and advised by Dr Sandhya Saisubramanian.
